Help you can trust, close to home
A directory of health and social-service organizations across central North Carolina — kept current by Triad Health Project so the details you find are the details you'll get.
Who it's for
Two people use the same directory. A case manager who already knows what a client needs and wants a filtered, printable answer in under a minute. And a community member who may not know what services exist or what they're called, is often on a phone, and needs plain language and no barriers. Everything here is built to serve both — no account, no sign-in, nothing to install.
How to use it
- Search by what someone needs — “rent help,” “food,” “HIV testing” — not by the name of a program.
- Browse by category or by county if you'd rather look around. Empty categories are hidden, so what you see is what we actually list.
- Filter results by county, cost, hours, and how a service is accessed.
- Save to My List with the heart on any listing, then print or save a one-page PDF to hand to a client — or copy a link to share it.
How we keep it current
Out-of-date information is the failure this directory exists to avoid — a disconnected phone number in a crisis is a real harm. Every listing shows when it was last verified and by whom, and records that go stale are pulled for review rather than left to quietly mislead. THP staff maintain the directory and confirm details by phone; it is not crowdsourced.
Your privacy
There is no account and no sign-in — asking who you are would mean keeping a record of what you looked for. We use no third-party trackers, no advertising tags, and no cookies that follow you. Your My List and any private notes live only in your own browser and never reach our servers. See our privacy notice for the details.
Something missing or wrong?
Know an organization that belongs here? Suggest a resource. Spotted a wrong detail on a listing? Use the Report a problem link on that listing. Both go straight to THP staff for review.
